Do guests need to download an app?
No app, no account, no password. A QR code on the table card opens a WhatsApp chat, they send one selfie, and their photos arrive in the same chat with a link to their personal gallery.
When do guests get their photos?
Automatically: as your photographer uploads and SnapStream matches faces, each guest’s gallery fills without anyone sending a thing. Photos are delivered to WhatsApp within a day of being uploaded, not weeks after the wedding.
Whose brand is on the gallery?
The couple’s. Your colours and names on a clean, mobile-first gallery, fully branded so SnapStream stays in the background.
Is it private and POPIA-compliant?
Yes: SnapStream is consent-first. Every guest opts in before any face matching happens, their face data is used only for photo matching, and they can type delete at any time to erase it. See our privacy policy.
