Do participants need to download an app?
No app, no account, no password. A QR at registration or the start line opens a WhatsApp chat, they send one selfie, and their photos arrive in the same chat with a link to their personal gallery.
Can we add our sponsor’s branding?
Yes: your event colours, plus a sponsor banner and name on the gallery.
Is it private and POPIA-compliant?
Yes: SnapStream is consent-first. Every participant opts in before any face matching happens, their face data is used only for photo matching, and they can type delete at any time to erase it. See our privacy policy.
